Lessons from a Siamese Donut

Part of the weekend was spent putting together some of the worksheets that will be needed for the assessment next week. The idea is to have three worksheets for each project - one showing the research, one showing the development of the project, and one a photo of the final work.

Some of the work involved is getting photos printed, and Tony's printer only packed up once, but fortunately started again. The carved sculpture ("rather Hepworth, isn't it?") came to be known as The Siamese Donut -Taking a photo of the worksheet seemed like a silly thing to do, but it gives you a chance to step back from it -- and shows that though the photos are lined up, the images aren't...

Lesson for the photographer is: when taking pix of something from several angles, have the distance the same (ie, use a tripod) -- then it's easier to use the resulting images. Also, when printing several images on one sheet, and they have white backgrounds, use a frame around each photo so they can easily be cut to the same size.
