Seen on Cork Street

Jann Haworth is showing at the Mayor Gallery till 28 July. She uses fabric in much of this work. To make donuts, newspapers, blue and white "china".And bouquets, and giant charm bracelet, and spooky grannies in rocking chairs with colourfully-veined hands and faces.
This is The Hollow Men - the figures are made of newspaper articles printed onto canvas.

I had to read that twice - those donuts are fabric? I would love that! All her work looks so interesting. Your photos around London are always fascinating and I enjoyed those around Bond St. I used to always go to Oxford St to shop and occasionally to Fenwicks but felt so out of place there - like those beer bellied men! Wonderful bags - it's fab to see what's on the shelves in Fenwicks sitting at my desk far far away!
